Who You Work With
The People Who Handle an Inherited House
Clearing, valuing and maintaining a house takes more than one set of hands. Here is who does what, and when each person steps in.
You hire me, and you get a short list of people who have worked on inherited houses many times before. I stay the single point of contact, so no heir has to manage vendors or explain the family situation to a stranger. Nothing gets scheduled without a yes from whoever the heirs have agreed speaks for the house. You can reach me at phone available on request or email available on request.

Inherited Property Advisor
This role is mine. I walk the house with you, tell you plainly what condition the home is in, and lay out what keeping, renting and selling would each look like in real numbers: monthly carrying cost, likely rent, likely sale price, and what buying out the other heirs would take. When co-owners want different things, I keep the conversation on the figures rather than on old family history.
Valuation and Rental Analyst
Before anyone argues about price, somebody has to establish what the house is worth today. The analyst pulls recent comparable sales, current rents for the same size home in the same neighborhood, and the cost of the repairs a buyer or a tenant would expect. Those three figures turn a family disagreement into a comparison everyone can look at together.
Cleanout and Preparation Crew
Most inherited houses are still full. This crew handles the physical work: sorting and boxing belongings, running an estate sale or arranging donation pickups, hauling away whatever nobody wants, changing locks, restoring the yard, and making the small repairs worth making. Nothing leaves the house until the family has walked through and taken what matters to them.
Curious who would actually show up at the house?
One walk through the house is usually enough to see who is needed and who is not. There is no cost and no obligation.
